Fantasy Football Draft Tips

If you're new to Fantasy Football or a veteran, its always good to recap what a good draft strategy looks like. Here are some tips and tricks to help you draft the best team possible.  1. Review and make sure you understand your league settings.      Each league and different platforms have different scoring rules, roster sizes, position limits, ect. Point per reception is a popular format, but I have also seen .5 per reception. Or, some leagues are standard with no extras or bonuses. The way your league scores will influence which players you should prioritize.  2. Don't draft a quarterback too early     Depending on who you ask, this could be controversial, but from my experience, as well as most experts, you have to wait. QBs do usually score a lot of points, but the position runs deep. Waiting until mid rounds, like 6-7, could benefit you. For example, I drafted a QB in my league in the 7th round, and he was top 5 in points for the week....

How To Prepare A Winning Fantasy Football Lineup Each Week

I want to start by stating that I ONLY use the ESPN fantasy app for my leagues. I am in a single PPR(point per reception). This is the most common format, and other apps use the same scoring, so it shouldn't matter what platform you use.  I will be talking about several aspects to alter and set your lineup for each week. Initial reports come out every Tuesday and then Friday and the final injury report is Sunday morning.  Step Two: Check if you have any players play...

About Fantasy Football Talk, Now

Hello! My name is John Smith, this is not my real name but rather a pen name as I would rather stay anonymous, and I am the author of Fantasy Football Talk, Now. I plan to use this blog as part of an assignment for a college class I am taking as a senior at Illinois State University, while also using it to help me and you succeed in fantasy football leagues. This blog will include my advice as well as combined expert advice on waiver pickups, start vs. sit, team name recommendations, and general football talk. Football has always been an important aspect of my life (playing from 3rd grade, up until I graduated high school, and watching the NFL). Watching football consumes most of my Sundays, partly because I enjoy watching it, and also because I have been playing in FF leagues since I was in elementary school, starting off helping my dad, to now having my own leagues I participate in. I have been relatively successful, winning a few times and having several top 3 finishes across 3...
